WRITING FOR COURAGE, RESILIENCE AND EMPATHY:
A Post-Election Women's Retreat

with Kelsea Habecker
Thursday, November 12 - Saturday, November 14
9:00 a.m. - Noon MST

No matter what happens on election day, we’ll all be asked to bring empathy, courage, and resilience into whatever awaits us next in this time of national and global turmoil. In this retreat, we’ll use a variety of writing techniques to develop what is required of us to move forward with purpose and power.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants (women).

One registration form will get you the link to join in either one or both FREE virtual events highlighted below.

Donations are suggested and the funds collected for this special event will support Ghost Ranch and the Abiquiu Public Library as an extension of the support Ms. O'Keeffe gave to her Abiquiu community.

Continuing the legacy of Ms O'Keeffe's support to the local community, donations will be shared between Ghost Ranch and the Abiquiu Public Library (youth cultural project).

A Conversation with Carol Merrill, author of O’Keeffe: Days in a Life and Weekends With O’Keeffe

A pre-recorded discussion with Carol Merrill. Ms. Merrill worked for Georgia O’Keeffe for seven years and had a number of responsibilities including cataloging her library, secretarial assistance, providing meals and companionship. This discussion includes readings from Ms. Merrill’s books and conversation of her experiences during the seven years.
