A program for pastors At the Presbyterian Foundation, we recognize the importance of supporting pastoral leaders and the congregations they serve, particularly in church financial literacy and leadership. That’s why we’ve established a coaching program to help address the challenges pastors face while promoting sustainability and growth in ministry. The Presbyterian Foundation’s Church Financial Leadership Coaching Program is a free, 12-month coaching opportunity designed to walk alongside pastors. Our program equips pastors with the essential building blocks to improve church finances, stewardship, and mission.

Part of the Lilly Endowment Inc.’s National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders, the Church Financial Literacy and Leadership Program helps to equip and train pastors and church leaders in their financial management and leadership for congregations.

What does it mean to rest faithfully in a season that constantly demands more? At the Luminosity Conference, we are honored to welcome Rev. Ayana Teter as a plenary speaker, offering a timely and deeply needed reflection on pastoral rest and its importance for sustaining ministry and vocation. Rev. Teter serves as the Associate Dean for Students and Formation at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where she walks alongside students as they discern their callings and develop spiritual practices that support long-term faithfulness. Beyond the classroom, she works as a congregational consultant, helping churches and nonprofit organizations live more fully into their God-given mission through coaching, spiritual direction, strategic planning, and visioning. Ayana brings a rich integration of theology, spirituality, and embodied practice to her work. With a passion for ballet, musical expression, and lifelong learning, she invites leaders to consider rest as a sacred discipline essential to healthy leadership. She is currently completing her Doctor of Ministry degree with a focus on Christian Spirituality, deepening her commitment to forming leaders who can remain grounded, creative, and resilient over time. Meet Eric Barreto: Guiding the Church Through Scripture and Culture

How does Scripture speak into a diverse and changing world? At the heart of faithful leadership is the ability to listen deeply—to Scripture, to our communities, and to the Spirit’s movement among us. Eric Barreto, New Testament scholar and minister, brings this gift to the Luminosity Conference with clarity, humility, and insight.      Eric is the Frederick and Margaret L. Weyerhaeuser Associate Professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary. His research explores how race, ethnicity, and theology intersect in the biblical text and in our lived experiences. He writes and teaches with the church in mind, equipping leaders to read Scripture through the lens of God’s justice and grace. As a teacher, Eric brings both pastoral care and prophetic challenge. He helps congregations and leaders wrestle with difficult questions and discover how the Word of God continues to speak into our present context.
