A program for pastors

At the Presbyterian Foundation, we recognize the importance of supporting pastoral leaders and the congregations they serve, particularly in church financial literacy and leadership. That’s why we’ve established a coaching program to help address the challenges pastors face while promoting sustainability and growth in ministry.

The Presbyterian Foundation’s Church Financial Leadership Coaching Program is a free, 12-month coaching opportunity designed to walk alongside pastors. Our program equips pastors with the essential building blocks to improve church finances, stewardship, and mission.

A New River Is Rising in West Philly — Watch This Powerful Church Story

In West Philadelphia, a powerful story of faith, loss, and new beginnings is unfolding.

New River Presbyterian Church was born from the courageous decision of three Presbyterian African American congregations — First African, Calvin, and Good Shepherd — to come together and imagine a new kind of church. With the support of the Presbytery of Philadelphia and their pastor, Rev. Dr. Eustacia Moffett Marshall, they created a whole new way of being church.

In a time when many churches are closing their doors, this one is opening new ones — to affordable housing, healing, worship, and mission.

Watch the inspiring story of how legacy, trust, and bold faith created something new.

This isn’t just a story about a building.

It’s about what’s possible when churches ask the right questions and truly listen for God’s answers.

At the Presbyterian Foundation, we’re here to walk with you and your congregation as you make decisions about your church property. If you’d like to talk about your own church’s property decisions, contact your Ministry Relations Officer.

Presbyterian Foundation - Get Ready for Year-End Giving

Get Ready for Year-End Giving

Did you know that more charitable giving happens in December than any other time of the year? Over one-third of all charitable giving is done in the last quarter of the year. The majority of that giving happens in the month of December.

We can help you make a charitable gift – and we can help your church or ministry encourage year-end gifts from your congregation.

Appreciated securities

If you or someone from your congregation would like to make a gift of appreciated securities, we can help – but act soon. These gifts take time to process.

Start with your Ministry Relations Officer, which you can find here.

Resources

Additionally, we have many resources available for your church or ministry. You can download the resources at the links below.

Please reach out to us at serving@presbyterianfoundation.org or call us at 800-858-6127 option 2 (8 am to 5 pm, Eastern Time) if you need assistance. We’re here to help.

All the best to you and yours this Christmas season!
