I’m Philana Patterson, and I joined Religion News Service as chief content officer in September. I’ve spent more than 30 years in newsrooms, and even from the outside I could see this team’s expertise. Now that I’m here, I have an even greater appreciation for the depth of their reporting.
This election season showed that. Our reporters covered faith leaders on the ballot, historic firsts and the concerns driving religious voters. Belief shapes our politics, our families and much of how we live. Thanks to people like you, our nonprofit newsroom is there for it all, year-round.
