RNS Morning Report - Amid protests at Delaney Hall, a Catholic nun has been offering 'radical hospitality'

RNS Morning Report Desktop
A year of showing up:
When hundreds of detainees at NJ’s Delaney Hall began their hunger and labor strike a few days ago, Sister Susan Francois was right outside the gates – as she has been, often twice a week, for the past year. From a "Radical Hospitality” tent pitched outside Delaney Hall, the Catholic nun has been bearing witness and ministering to families and friends of detainees long before the hunger strike inspired protests and made national news.
Watch a day in Sister Susan’s life — and the first episode of Faith on the Immigration Frontline, RNS's new short-form documentary series about people of faith navigating America's immigration crisis.
